Jose Fragoso was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. After graduating from Cartoon Animation and Graphic Design, he started his career as an illustrator in 1997 and then moved to New York city to improve his skills at School Of Visual Arts.

His illustrations have appeared in children´s books, magazines, comic books and album artworks in Spain and US, with clients as 3x3 magazine or Sony Music.

He teaches Illustration at Instituto Cervantes New York.

He also studied Film Making and directed three short movies and two video clips.

He was influenced by his grandfather journalist and cartoonist Jesus Fragoso del Toro.

He lives in NYC with his wife and french bulldog, and has declared recently that he is 100% feliz.
